Official competition (manual entry)
Standings, the division calendar and other teams’ results normally arrive through the federation link. If your team isn’t linked (no connector for your sport or country, or not enabled yet), you can enter your division yourself: its teams, its fixtures and their results. strivn computes the standings — you never type a standing by hand.
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”From the Calendar, open Manage competitions, then the Official competition card. Managing the competition requires the same right as managing the calendar.
1. Create the competition
Section titled “1. Create the competition”Fill in:
- Name (e.g. P3 Liège) and Season (e.g. 2026-2027);
- Points per result: Win, Draw, Loss — 3 / 1 / 0 by default.
Click Create the competition. Your team is automatically part of it. Edit lets you change these settings later.
2. Add the teams
Section titled “2. Add the teams”In the Teams section, add each opponent in the division:
- Pick an existing opponent: a file already created in scouting;
- or create a team: type its name and an opponent file is created for it.
Each team is therefore a real opponent file: its page, its scouting and its presentations work as usual. Remove takes a team out of the competition but keeps its file (a team that already has fixtures must lose them first).
3. Add fixtures
Section titled “3. Add fixtures”In Fixtures, add a fixture with home, away, date and time, round and venue. Fixtures are grouped by round.
- A fixture involving your team becomes a match in your calendar, with the opponent, date, venue and competition. Editing one keeps the other in step. Deleting the fixture leaves your match in the calendar.
- Your match’s score is the match sheet’s score (or the live match’s): the Match sheet link takes you there. No double entry.
- For a fixture between two other teams, enter the result inline (home goals, away goals) and save. A fixture without a result counts as not played yet.
4. Import the season calendar
Section titled “4. Import the season calendar”Instead of typing everything, click Import a calendar and upload an .xlsx or .csv file.
- Columns: date, home, away. Optional: time, home score and away score (or a single score column “2-1”), round, venue. Headers are recognised in French or English; dates as dd/mm/yyyy or yyyy-mm-dd.
- Download the template gives you a ready-to-fill file.
- Read the file shows a preview: nothing is saved before you confirm.
- Teams in the file: each recognised name is mapped to its team. For an unknown name, choose the team it refers to or Create a new team.
- Rows with errors (invalid date, missing team, incomplete score…) are listed and not imported — never silently dropped.
- A row with no time is scheduled at 15:00, your team’s time.
- Re-importing the same file updates fixtures already entered (same date, same home, same away) instead of duplicating them.
Click Import the fixtures to save.
5. The standings
Section titled “5. The standings”The Computed standings are built from the entered results: rank, points, played, won / drawn / lost, goals for / against and goal difference. They apply your points per result, then break ties by goal difference, then goals scored, then name.
Once the competition is filled in, the screens that read the federation work for your team, with a discreet Manual entry label:
- the standings and the division calendar;
- the opponent page overview: form, last results, rank;
- the Latest results block of an opponent presentation.
If your team gets linked to the federation later
Section titled “If your team gets linked to the federation later”As soon as a federation link exists, the federation data takes over: standings and division calendar come from the federation. The manual competition is hidden but kept — it comes back if the link is removed. Your matches already in the calendar stay.
With the assistant
Section titled “With the assistant”The AI assistant can manage the competition for you — create it, add teams, add or edit fixtures, enter a result — always asking you to confirm. It also answers questions about the standings: “Where are we in the table?”, “What are FC Rivaux’s last results?”.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”- A competition belongs to your team: it is not shared with other teams or clubs.
- No hand-typed standings, points penalties or sport-specific tie-break rules.
- A cup can be entered as a flat list of fixtures, without knockout brackets or group stages.
