Your data
Your team’s tracking records belong to you. From the Data tab of the team Settings, you get them as a ZIP archive, in open formats any spreadsheet or tool can read. Export is available on every plan, Free included, whatever the subscription state and whichever modules are switched on.
Export the team’s data
Section titled “Export the team’s data”- Open the team Settings, Data tab.
- Click Export all data.
- The card shows “Preparing the archive…”. You can leave the page: strivn prepares the archive in the background and emails you when it is ready.
- Come back to the Data tab (the Open the Data tab button in the email takes you there) and click Download.
The button asks for no selection: the archive gathers, in one go, every dataset listed below that you are allowed to view, over the team’s whole history, whatever your plan’s history window.
| The card shows | What you can do |
|---|---|
| ”Preparing the archive…” | Wait for the email, or stay on the page: it updates by itself. |
| ”Ready”, with the size, the data date and the time before expiry | Download, or start a New export. |
| ”Preparation failed”, with the reason | Try again. |
| ”Your last archive expired and was deleted” | Start a New export. |
What the archive holds
Section titled “What the archive holds”The ZIP file contains:
- an Excel workbook, with one sheet per dataset;
- a
csv/folder, with one CSV file per dataset (comma-separated, UTF-8). Both formats hold the same rows; LISEZMOI.txt, written in the team’s language: it explains every dataset and every column, and what the archive does not contain;manifest.json, the same description in machine-readable form (reference date, row counts, datasets left out).
Column headers are in English and do not change from one archive to the next, so your tools and scripts can read them. Dates and times are given in the team’s time zone (ISO 8601). The first five columns of the players file follow strivn’s player import template.
| Dataset | One row per… | Permission needed |
|---|---|---|
| Players | player, archived players included | See the squad |

| Events | calendar event (training, match, meeting…), deleted events excluded | See the calendar |
| Attendance | event and invited player: the presence strivn retains and the player’s answer | See the calendar |
| Wellness | wellness questionnaire answer | See wellness |
| Session perceived effort | a player’s RPE answer after a session or a match | See load |
| Loads | training load, computed or entered | See load |
| GPS imports | imported GPS file (the list of imports, not the files) | See GPS |
| GPS metrics | player, session and metric | See GPS |

What the archive does not hold (yet)
Section titled “What the archive does not hold (yet)”The archive gathers the tracking records listed above. It does not contain:
- files: original GPS files, injury photos, shared documents, videos and other attachments;
- data planned for a later version of the export: match results and statistics, player evaluations, fines, physio advice and detailed rehab follow-up, program follow-up, watches and wearables, trials, camps;
- content created in strivn: programs, exercise library, tactical boards, presentations, session planning, scouting, templates. The exercise library belongs to each coach anyway, not to the team;
- team settings, delivery records (WhatsApp messages, emails, notifications, reminders), technical logs and subscription and billing data.
To obtain anything missing from the archive, write to hello@strivn.net.
Who can export
Section titled “Who can export”- The Export the team’s data permission is granted by default to the team owner and the head coach. To grant it to another staff member, open Staff permissions from the Staff page.
- Each archive belongs to the person who requested it. Nobody else can see or download it, not even the head coach: each person downloads only the archive they requested themselves.
- The content follows your permissions. A dataset you cannot view in strivn is not in your archive: the card shows it under “What it will not hold for you”, and
LISEZMOI.txtnames it with the reason. - The owner’s archive is complete. The team owner holds every permission: their archive holds everything the export covers. To get the whole club’s records back, the owner is the one who exports.
- Every export is recorded (who, when, which datasets, how many rows) and shows in the team’s activity for the members allowed to export.
How long the archive stays available
Section titled “How long the archive stays available”- The archive is deleted 24 hours after it was prepared. The card shows the time left.
- You keep one downloadable archive per team: a new export replaces the current archive, which is deleted.
- You can only download it while you still hold the export permission.
Before archiving a team
Section titled “Before archiving a team”The Archive tab of the Settings reminds you: export the data before archiving the team. An archived team can no longer be exported from the app. If it is already archived, the team owner writes to hello@strivn.net from their account’s email address to get the export.
Having data erased
Section titled “Having data erased”- One player: Remove from team, on the player’s sheet, permanently erases their personal data. See Manage the roster.
- A whole team or your account: write to hello@strivn.net. Export the data first: erasure is permanent.
And to come into strivn?
Section titled “And to come into strivn?”To bring your roster and GPS sessions over from another tool, see Switching tools.
